I am a Humanistic and Integrative counsellor which means I draw from a variety of approaches best suited to my clients. We are all unique and I believe that no one type of therapy will suit everyone. I am able to bring in elements of Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA) which allows me to tailor your therapy to suit you.
My aim is to understand things from your perspective and to help guide you towards your desired outcome. You might want to gain awareness and understanding of a particular issue, explore issues from the past or present that are not sitting comfortably with you, feel supported through a life event or explore the possibility of making changes to your life or your relationships.
It is not my role to offer advice, provide the answers for you or tell you what to do. Instead, I will work with you in order to help you improve your well-being. The counselling session is your space to explore what matters to you in an environment where you can truly feel heard and supported without being judged.
