Professional Membership:

​I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I adhere to the code of ethics set out by the association and have been deemed competent to practice as a counsellor.

Experience:

As well as running my own private practice, I have provided counselling in a variety of different agencies and settings. My experience is varied including offering telephone support for Rape Crisis and facilitating a support group and counselling for a charity specialising in gender identity issues. I have also counselled bereaved clients for Cruse as well as a smaller, local bereavement charity for several years. My experience extends to counselling children in a secondary school and counselling patients at a GP surgery for a wide variety of issues.

  • Diploma (Merit) in Higher Education Humanistic Gestalt Counselling
  • Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
  • Basic Counselling Skills Certificate
